Insulin levels rise to help the blood sugars out of your bloodstream and into your cells. Insulin makes androgen hormones more active which contributes to the production of more sebum and acne.
Dairy: Since milk has a high sugar content, consumption of dairy may cause inflammation leading to skin breakouts and irritation. Fast food items, such as burgers, nuggets, hot dogs, french fries, sodas and milkshakes, are mainstays of a typical Western diet and may increase acne risk.
A separate study of 2,300 Turkish men found that frequently eating burgers or sausages was linked to a 24% increased risk of developing acne .

My 30 Day Reset And Transformation
Two years ago, I learned about The Whole30, a diet where you only eat whole, unprocessed foods. The goal is to help you discover food sensitivities and improve health. I originally decided to take on this diet to get to the bottom of some stomach aches that plagued me. I was eating mostly what I thought of as healthy foods , but they were still affecting me.
